What do we think about making a cascade lift or an elevator with a claw for the endgame of OverUnder?

So, Im currently planning out a custom cascade lift (elevator) for an endgame for Over Under.
would it be smart to have this lift with a claw at the top? The plan is that it lifts up to the top, grabs on to the pvc, and pulls the robot up.
I did a lot of math and science and came out with a total weight compacity of 30Lbs or more for the cascade lift.

We think it’s not an excellent idea. In VEX, the simplest solution wins 95% of the time. I recommend looking at bar lifts for the 2016-2017 Starstruck endgame for inspiration.
