I love your dr4b lift, but it’s wobbly and is lifting 3 motors-worth of weight. Mount the two lifting motors on the stationary support arms. A good claw with the ability to rotate 180 degrees will likely save time too for inverted pins. My team thought about an X-drive but wanted a more stable, square platform for the drivetrain. They are still deciding on a 4-wd, 6 wheel where the center-mounted wheels are driven and the four corners are omni’s, or an h-drive. Current setup is a 6-wheel that is super-fast and fun but probably not ideal. I look forward to see if they change their mind.

the bot looks good with the general design although the claw was wobbly and the item that it was lifting was a little too heavy for the bot all on it’s own accounting the three motors that was used made it even heavier for the robot it made to where it was unable to lift up but it was a pretty good build with the drive terrain amazing job continue the great work.

An excellent DR4B and x-drive, however, I would recommend some faster-scoring designs, such as Ben lippers first robot design or the mix and match intake reveal video design (I forgor the youtub channel).

@76782AHighVoltage Nice robot! I even have an idea of how you could use this to score on the standoff goal. If… and IF… you have pnuematics, you could adjust the robot so that you can change the angle of the conveyor platform to reach high places. Great design! This is much different from what everyone else is doing!

Actually, I was just working on the stand-off goal. We are going to lift this back claw;


Using some lift mech like this

We are planning to have the game objects taken up with the claw allowing us to put a stack in the triangle goals and the stand-off goal.

@76782AHighVoltage My brother said that in the background😂. He is making robot Similar to your robot but without using Pneumatics and without X Drive, but a (two motor drivetrain).
