What happens if the middle goal is scored in both zones?

Hi,

I recently discovered an interesting hypothetical scenario in which the center goal could be scored in both alliance zones. The center goal is 40 inches tall, so if it fell on its side, it could be located on both sides of the 36 inch neutral zone. Would any rings scored on the goal (and the goal itself) count for points for both or neither alliance?

My understanding would be only the side that the base is on would recieve points.

additionally I think that these goals are probably self-righting. I’d have to test on the peices themselves to be sure, but my guess is that they cannot tip on their own, they’d have to be held down by something.
