What is the worst advice you could give?

Yes, more speed always = more torque because a higher velocity = more momentum.

Mmm 600 rpm 2 motor drive. You can even cook eggs on the motors after matches!

That’s a great image for judges to see!!!

Or for a traybot tilter

I say just use the bluetooth functionality

When it is folded down

or stand directly behind your tray when folding it

If we could actually do that though. That would be amazing.

Don’t sand down sharp metal around places you need to put your hand in to tighten screws. Cuts on your hands definitely look cool! And who needs cuticles anyways? Also you don’t need to buy backup motors, that’s just a waste of money.

Why stop at not buying backup motors? Don’t buy the eight motor. Seven motors should be enough for any good robot.

I wouldn’t call it good, but our robot for tower takeover only needed 7 motors (it was a dr4b clamp).

Put the one part that breaks a lot right under the cortex.
Also use one big, flimsy axel as part of your main lift. It definitely won’t break into pieces from all the weight you put on it.
And when you try to fix that axel, make sure to use a electric file that nearly sets fire to your robot.

If you see that your losing a match just start asking the ref for a DQ. They are very understading and will gladly give a DQ to the other team. ; )

Did that once at a comp, then it wasn’t properly locked down so I had a quarter inch cut on the tip of my nose. This was right before a match so I was bleeding during the match.

That’s funny but it must’ve sucked

I mean, the injury isn’t funny, but the circumstances are.

If something goes wrong, just panic.

You don’t need to secure your battery with clips. Just let your robot drag it along the ground.

Only and idiot would do that

I’m and idiot if you didn’t get that

What are you talking about? Why even use motors when you can just push, sorry kick the robot around?

And then they start checking whether you fit within the size restrictions.
