Make sure that you use only zip ties when connecting the pieces of your robot.
Tbh I don’t think keps nuts are that bad. Sometimes nylocks are essential, like with screw joints, but other than that, keps nuts can work just as well in most scenarios. Hex nuts, however, are really bad.
I’m now interested in what will happen if people actually do this.
Its ok to play minecraft while programming
Sadly, that was our first year and we don’t have any pictures. Basically what happened was we had tank tread and our motors were overheating so… Aren’t the bare sprockets a better solution?
Our programmer kept playing ROBLOX while programming.
Can confirm, bare sprockets are a better solution, that’s why my intake rollers this year didn’t have any treads.
Hey, obviously it can take you to the state competition… Whatever works.
Use onmi wheels for turning point.
NO traction!

but significantly better mobility. Unless you’re using mecanums you should be using omnis. The way people solved traction problems was by adding 2 wheens in the middle that were either locked omnis or traction tires (or some other way to create traction), but almost everyone used omnis for the front and back wheels because the increased mobility is more important than having less traction.

I think it might just work like a tank drive?
okay I was just using my basic knowledge about this stuff- it is my first year in VEX. I knew that in TP there were platforms and you needed traction to stay on those.
Excellent advise! I also wouldn’t bother with them.
Use Vexcode Blocks. Very good
Don’t worry about skills or auton. It’s just a waste of time you could be using to make your driver controle move faster than it should.
Don’t bother reading the game manual. No one cares about whether or not you follow the rules.
Also, don’t bother programming the robot, just use the default drive program.
The auton line is just a suggestion.
