My Kryptonite in robotics is the same as in real life. I’m a horrible snack-retriever. To fix this, my team last year had The Intern. He was a rookie that didn’t really want to be there, so he memorized our Starbucks orders, and randomly brought us snacks. He was awesome.

My Kryptonite would probably be the maintenance of our robot. There always seems to be a screw loose or a piece out of alignment, or a shaft out of our motor, or a shaft collar thats fallen off. I can never find it but the rest of my teammates can like it’s blatantly obvious.

Which I have used on V5 robots and to fasten a run of Ethernet cable in my workshop. Round head wood screws to hold them to the wall.

You mean your partner actually cost you points? I can relate. I completed homerow in auton and my qual partner somehow decided to remove balls, so I didn’t get homerow bc they scored negative points. I was not a happy camper

honestly, i hate programming auton, and watching it fail. im not even the programmer and i still hate it.

I feel your pain. Programming auton Is horrible not only for the programmer, but for the other team members as well because it never works and when you do get it to work, it isn’t on time so only one part of the auton works.

One time my code was working perfectly and suddenly we get to the finals match. I hadn’t even touched my code and suddenly my drivetrain controls were inverted
