What kind of air pump should we get for the new pneumatic set?

Hi,
My team and I are looking forward to buy the new pneumatic set. This set includes a 200psi air tank but no way of filling it back up. Would you know where we can find a portable (if possible cheap) air pump ? I don’t know a lot about pneumatic yet and I’m kind of lost.
Thanks !

Go to the hardware store and get a bicycle tire pump! Nothing special, unless you want to pay a lot for a battery powered inflator.

You can use a bike pump. It’s cheaper and works just as well as anything else.

Fair warning, you are not allowed to fill it past 100psi.

I have a bike foot pump, but the quick release has become iffy, so now we use a cheap $30-40 battery-powered inflator.

Edit: it seems I made an error in the reading. The air tank is indeed 100psi and 200mL, not 200psi. My bad.

200psi is the safety rating. It’s pretty normal in industry to rate pressure at twice the working pressure. Google “factor of safety” for more engineering analysis. For elevators and overhead lifting FS is often 6:1 or more!

if you were ever at states in virginia, use the pneumatic set that 92315A had, thats the team im with. Its technically just just your average pnumatic set. nothing too special…
