What’s a good software to use for building a VEX IQ rapid relay robot?

I’ve been trying to find a software that can let me make and simulate a VEX rapid relay robot. OnShape was ok, SnapCad was old, and TinkerCad had no pieces.

Fusion 360 is a great one to use, it has a dedicated VEX parts library through the GrabCAD community and offers robust simulation capabilities.

It is free for students and offers good features.

Do you mean that it doesn’t have new parts or something?

The software itself is really outdated.

I find Blender really easy to navigate and fast to load. I’ll attach a folder below of .stl files of all of the vex parts so that its compatible with blender

btw, could anybody send a link of any free softwares you know? I’m still looking for one.

Most of the commercial CAD software packages (SolidWorks, Fusion, Inventor, OnShape, Solid Edge), offer “free” educational licenses. You can find links in this paper: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IEmWpBjvB3xcIVQa9wmRnp4LcC2DKMg_/view?usp=sharing

But from your original comment, is sounds like you’re not really willing to invest the time needed to learn to use a real CAD software package, so you might be better off with “hobby software” or just tinker something together.

Here is a good one:

Fusion 360 is recommended for V5, however I’d recommend LDCad for IQ.

The thing is, on shape doesn’t snap the parts together
