The judgement taken by the judges was not per the rules. How do we get fair decision? What options do we have

You can report it to your RSM.

Wait. Are you talking judges awarding a judged award against written criteria or do you mean referees making what you consider to be a bad call during a match? If it is the latter, there is not much you can do after the fact. You could bring it to the attention of the ref and event partner so they can make a better ruling in the future. But, once a match is over and scored, it is not going to change.

What evidence do you have that the Judges did not make a judgement that was not per the rules? That is if you are talking about a judge. Judges are the people interviewing and reviewing engineering notebooks

The referees incorrectly ruled our autonomous period and awarded the points to the other team. Our robot touched a purple cube which began on the autonomous line, and our robot did not push the cube over the line. SG2 in the game manual states that this is allowed. We have video evidence of the incident.

The time to contest a ruling is at that time. In your case, it would have even useful for your team to the rule ready to show the ref. The use of video by refs is prohibited in the rules. So the existence of a video won’t help you at all.

Please note that you have listed this as a VEX IQ Challenge discussion. There are no purple cubes in the VEX IQ competition so I am assuming that you are discussing the VEX EDR Competition which then you might get better feedback if you had the right tags. Hopefully everything gets resolved for you.

The best solution is to have one of your team members up there with a rule book handy so you can prove it or you can call them out on it and give them evidence to support your case. Also, video evidence isn’t allowed as per the rules, as mentioned by @Gear_Geeks. You can show the video after the competition is over and show them so they can learn from it but they can not change the call then and there. We also had a bad call that costed us the match in the semi-finals that we should have won. Even with video evidence it will not help you in any way until after the match so you can prove your were right or so they can explain why they are correct. Can’t be used in any other circumstance.
