We swapped our PIC and old large controller for the Cortex and new joystick. Is there a use for the 9.6V batteries that would power the old controllers? Thanks!
Well, if you have the right tools, then you can use the 9.6 to power the VEXnet joystick as well. Just look at Vamfun’s video on youtube.
The modification is legal for some tournaments, I am not sure if they fully legalized it.
There are lots of teams that did not convert that would love to have extra transmitter battery packs if you would like to donate them. There are teams that don’t have much in the way of resources. Check your local area, but if you can’t find anyone let me know and I’ll tell you where to send them (and I’ll even help you out with the postage)
Or power your Cortex with it for non-competition use
