We have changed a couple things since I put that post out.

great, 36T-60t sounds like the gear ratio you’re doing.

If you are talking to me, we are running 450 RPM on 2.75 inch wheels. The gear ratio for that is 36-48 powered by 600 RPM motors. The 36-48 requires the wheels to be either higher or lower than the motor.

360 rpm on a 3.25 in wheels is about 61.25 in/sec.
That is on the faster side, but is quite competitive, especially with this year’s challenge.
