You say that as if your vote actually counts. Single votes do nothing.
Just to clarify the importance of voting:
Yes, a single vote won’t change anything (except in small elections, or in rare cases in larger elections), but a large number of people making the same decision about their single vote will make a difference.
If a few people vote for a write-in candidate who isn’t running, that won’t change the outcome (unless it’s ridiculously close, or there aren’t many people voting).
But if a lot of people have the same idea, and vote for write-in candidates (or stay home) because their own vote doesn’t matter, then that could make a difference.
It’s like a game of chicken, or like the prisoner’s dilemma. Which outcome will turn out the best for you depends on whether other people do the same thing - and you aren’t really able to talk to them about it before you make your decision.
I am not sure what the heck I started, but to clarify a few things:

Don’t actually vote for DRow in 2020, that was a joke. Votes matter, and they should not be wasted, even though a good deal of the forum can’t vote for multiple years.

Ok, I have a serious question stemming from my civic studies.
So we all give DRow a ton of likes for meme posts that could get other forum users instantly banned.
Isn’t it a violation of Emoulnments Clause for him to accept those likes?
No, he was not elected. Matter of fact I he has said “If nominated I will not run, if elected I will not serve”. Oh wait, that was Pat Paulson.
In any case he was not elected by the public. Not clear if there was a vote or if someone at VEX went “Hey you, yeah you in the hat, come over here for a GDC meeting”
But I’m pretty sure he is all for enrobe, covering things in chocolate, BBQ sauce, etc.
But emoulments? Nope.
But plurality of VRC teams had voted for him with their “DRow for GDC” robot stickers. There were no votes against.
It is only that existing GDC members refuse to recognize the vote counts and sit him in.
Not a bonafide or real election. If stickers would win then Waldo would be on the GDC.
Kind of wondering what kind of Civic’s class you are in. After all the popular vote didn’t count for the existing President. 
DRow won the popular vote in our imagination by a landslide.
And electoral college does not apply to VRC, only to VEX-U.

I would argue that Drow’s meme posts wouldn’t get instantly banned if another user posted them in the same place because a meme about banning right after a thread is locked is relevant. All other users are simply unable to post after a thread is locked
