If you are interested in another VEX competition there is the VEX Pentathlon at Robofest, at Lawrence Tech in Michigan here is more info: the general site for all of robofest http://robofest.net/ and the rules for VEX pentathlon are a little down the page.

I thought that was when it started.
I heard that the rules for the next fvc game will
be announced in May.

The rules will probably be announced at the same time as the game. Otherwise people would be able to completely figure out the game from the rules.
