Hello everybody, I hope everyone in this community is doing well! I just wanted to know if there is a place where I could find replacements for the Silicone Rubber Bands (228-2500-470), I can’t find them anywhere other then the Competition Kits. It would be great if we could find them as we need them for our competition. Any help would be great thank you!

I see, so the only way to get those exact rubber bands is through the competition kit, could we use rubber bands that are not directly from Vex Robotics during the competition or it has to be from Vex robotics.
The rules say it must be a VEX part. BUT they are not really clear on what part it should be.
Let me make a bad assumption here that you have built Swish and have broken the rubber band that runs the “transmission” setup to run the winch and fire the robot.
It turns out that VEX does sell a sort of replacement part, it’s not called what you think.
The 30 mm rubber belts works pretty good in Swish and VEX does stock them. You get 2 in the $7 pulley assortment bag.
I do have a related very sad story. I bought these 30 mm size belts https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2251832803558858.html for another project
My grandchild helped me clean up the robot lab one afternoon. Sadly, they mixed the Ali belts with the VEX belts. I tried to separate them back, but they look identical to each other. So just a reminder to not buy these Ali belts and mix them with your VEX belts.
