Help! Where can I buy VEX shaft collars? I need like 400.

That’s not a VEX part number. The part number is 276-6103, they come in packs of 16, so you need 25 packs to get to your 400.

I do not believe RoboSource sells shaft collars unfortunately.

Worth pointing out that the star drive grub screws can be bought separately - replace hex/allen grubs in any shaft collars you already own.

I see my bad. Nevertheless, it’s still a great place to get most vex parts.

You are right, they don’t sell shaft collars. VEX is now really the only source for them. McMaster Carr sells a similar item for far more than VEX does.

Robosource does sell the set screws for the collars and I recommend getting spares. Even the star ones will strip out, being able to toss a screw and save the collar is great.

This thread is in the VIQ Discussion. VIQ collars are only obtainable from VEX, I’ve never found a second supplier for them.

Ah yes…I believe mine was the part number for the McMaster Carr site. I was moving around on different sites trying to find them. Nobody has them anymore.

I’ve tried all of the sites mentioned in previous years, but none of them have them.

I’m seeing the vex site has them in stock, are they showing out of stock for you?

If it’s not for competition use, they are available on Amazon. They are used for RC aircraft landing gear I believe.

Yes, SKU 276-6103 are out of stock. I used to buy them via RobotMesh, but they don’t have any either. I think they actually went under.

You mean the set screws? I have plenty of set screws. Need collars.

Reiterating the fact that shaft collars are not sold there. There are parts such as screws and nuts that are legal and sold there, if that is what you are referring to.

FYI - I am able to add these to a cart now, so I believe the website issue we found a few weeks back has been resolved. You should be good to order now!
