We have one set in house…thankfully… but trying to order additional for our teams and for our tournament in Mid-October and elements are not shipping till Oct 25th… this is not good… VEX please hire people that can help you with supply chain / distribution… I don’t like complaining but it’s really hard to compete or put on an event without game elements.
When talking about a big organization like VEX or th RECF, it’s important to understand there are many things that can go wrong. In edr, many teams got their v5 6 months after ordering because of the backlog. If the problem is that you want to hold a competition but you don’t have enough fields, ask some local teams nearby if they can provide a field for you. Even ask some of the competitions at the comp. people do this sort of thing all the time and they’ll understand.
If you are going to be hosting a competition please reach out to your regional support manager they will help you. If you are not hosting an event and just looking for pieces you will have to wait like everyone else.
Mine also took a week, however that’s because I ordered it after the TT season started. It took 6 months when v5 first came out during TP because so many people were ordering.
Either way, I don’t want to take this thread off topic seen as this does not pertain to the OP’s problem.
his problem, was that he was afraid that the game elements would not arrive in time for his first tournament. I think it’s still very much on topic, since we’re reassuring them, by saying that the sets usually arrive before what it says.
