Instead of water, we need to think bigger and better. I propose the idea that there are two canvasses spanning each alliance sides and about 3 foot high. In the center, there will be 4 paint rollers and also buckets of blue/red paint. There will be a 2 paint roller per robot limit and no height expansion limit. You can paint your alliance’s side with your alliance color and the scores will be calculated by the alliance with the most square footage of paint painted. And how do you reset the field, you just swap the side of the alliances.
Please feel free to coment any changes/robot ideas that will work well with this game.
So, Splatoon. That would be cool, but is almost as impractical as the water game.
I have no idea what you are talking about.
It’s a Nintendo game almost exactly like what you described.
Paint is mostly water so I mean…
Let’s require students paint their expensive robotics parts
That won’t go over well.
Removable paint
In a school gym
Thats a problem
How will this be a problem
Shooting paint at other robots in a school gym. Probably a EPs worst nightmare.
School. Paint. Sports. Don’t mix.
While I like the idea of inventive VEX games other than Water Games, this is probably a lot worse. I might suggest maybe a fluid mechanic on a safer level, like an hourglass with bean bags. I also think a game that has some additional drive team functionality like in ITZ would be cool.
VEX Death Push Battles would be fun where you put robots on the roof and the last robot that that can stay on the roof wins
VEX Scholarship Royale, where you have to design a robot to stay on that roof. Last one alive wins a scholarship.
I’d call that game “VRC Antichamber”. He did that after losing at state.
Imagine Turning Point game where the only scoring points are cener platform parking.
Everybody will be driving around until the last second.
Might be boring to watch, thought.
Actually, the word you meant to use was trough.
Why not just combine everything from all previous games and add water. (Don’t think about it or it might not make sense.)
