Hey everyone, the title explains most of the question. The video does not specify if there will be an in-person option for tipping point so I was wondering if there will be in SoCal?
there will likely be some kind of mix of in person and live remote tournaments, depending on the region and time. I’m expecting it to be mostly in person with some live remote options, though I can’t predict the future with total accuracy so that could change.

Keep an eye on robotevents.com where competitions will be posted as they are scheduled by the event planners. It’s pretty early still, EPs are still making their plans.

I’m an event partner in San Diego in a School District that did not allow any in-person competitions last year. I can tell you that all of our local EPs have already started making plans to host in-person competitions this year. There may still be some restrictions and requirements, but we are definitely planning to be in person.

Last year Delmarva had a mix of Remote and In Person events and I’m planning a stack of live events for this year. While I applaud the RECF in creating the LRT/S environment and it was fun to play with teams from around the world as part of the normal season, I want to get back to live in person events.
Now put down your phone and go get vaccinated.

This one. While I’m based in Wilmington, I try to help events across the region. I’ll be reaching out to schools and clubs soon to try to restart the programs. Waiting on some of my key places to decide their 2021 strategy.
