Soooo fun fact, my uncle is the real life version of the teacher that sponsored the four Hispanic students (the character played by George Lopez). What the movie leaves out that makes the true story all the more inspiring is the fact that the teacher/ main mentor of the group was Iranian, meaning that the team was comprised of 2 cultures that are currently at war with America and its politics.
To all of you who do nothing but complain about the REC, Bo1, and other rules that competitors have not enjoyed dealing with recently, I really hope this movie teaches you to just accept the challenge instead of complaining about it.
