So basically our robot is almost finished and now its time to fully wire everything! I have like no idea on how to wire effectively. any suggestions please???
Have your wires going in and out of the c-channel holes or zip tie them to the c-channel. Also, color-code your wires.
I’d recommend running wires through channels where you can and using tubing elsewhere, and like @ElectricEagleY said, colorcode wires so things aren’t as confusing when you need to change or fix something. We have the motors from each subsystem (drive, mogo intake, lift, four bar and cone intake) marked with their own color of electric tape and we add that same color of tape to the end of the wires where they plug into the cortex.

Where did you get the tubing for the wiring in that picture?
Home Depot
-I highly recommend labeling the ends of your wires with the number cortex port they use (we use electrical tape and sharpies to do this).
-Also try bundling motor controllers together with electrical tape to make things neater. Often when wiring the motor controllers get jumbled together and tangle things up because they’re so big.
-Don’t let your wires wrap around sharp corners or metal or they could break (!) during competition.
-As @TheLordsChipsBuilder said- that black tubing is great for bundling wires, but make sure not to overfill the smaller tubes or they wont stay closed (they also happen to look like a snake that overate)
-Zipties are going to be your BFF - they’re great to secure the connections between wires
-Lastly, make sure your wires don’t go over top of your Vexnet Key in the cortex or they could interfere with connection to the remote.
