I know that this was originally posted a few months ago and I wanted to follow up.
2023 VEX Robotics World Championship
• Host City: Dallas, Texas
• VRC tentatively scheduled April 25-29 (AP Exams in US start on May 1)
• VIQC will follow April 30 - May 4
Does anyone know if the VRC schedule is still planned for those dates? And also, would it be the same as last year with middle school the first 2 days, both the 27th and high school the last 2 days?

This coming season - to avoid AP exams (and others) HS will run first, then MS … Game reveal is final day of HS and MS will be urged not to interfere with it as they will have their game reveal at final day.
Not ideal setup but it is what it is with welcoming so many teams to VEX Worlds!
I’m gonna have my IB test around that time so that sucks.
Ah, but does it avoid IB testing? That’s what matters for me.
good question - the dates were presented at EP Summit. If the slides were posted, then easy to look up. In meanwhile, when are IB exam period this year?
Teams were able to get IB testing done in Dallas in 2022. You get your local school to say it’s ok, and then ask one of the IB schools in Dallas if you can come sit in.
HS worlds would be finished by the time the exams starts, unless there are people who actually take the nature of science and school based syllabus exams on Thursday and Friday, and those are afternoon exams.
HS would be done on Thursday, so this doesn’t really interfere with any of the primary IB exams taken
There are also the Business Management papers?
But I do think the dates are pretty close to previous pre-covid years?

I’m looking forward to the return of Singapore and China. But it’s a long time to May with some public health issues going on.
It was said at the EP summit and then I’ve been told that by others in the organization
It looks like my testing dates will be may 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. Which, if the event ends before May, would fit fine.
Here are the dates out forth by the Asian Robotics League earlier this month:
So far I have not seen anything to suggest any different dates. And the fact that it was posted by the largest event organizing committee in Mainland China suggests to me that they might be joining us in Dallas this season.

Just compared it to my schools calendar, thats the week we’re doing out state testing, ugh at least I got time to figure something out, if one of my teams make it.
Same, Our school system is having 8th grade testing the week world’s end, I am a 8th grader and we have to take 4 EOC and one Geo and Alg EOC as well.
I’m the tech coordinator for my school, and the coach for 4 teams, we have a 3 day window for the entire school to take our test, and it just so happens to be during the HS and beginning of MS, so no chance for us to fly in early to get acclimated to Texas weather and time zone from Hawaii -_-…
OF course I’m not telling the teams about this dilemma, until we get actual proof we’re going haha.
I am not sure If I am reviving a topic or not, but to answer everyone’s questions VRC Worlds will happen first to avoid the AP exams according to the RECF. Middle School and Vex U will happen next, then after that Middle School VIQC and then VIQC Elementary.
