Last night on the RECF’s preparing for Worlds webinar, they said team giveaways cannot be edible. Is this something new? Why would that even be a thing to ban?? If you have allergies, you don’t eat things that you question. And it’s not like teams hand out lunches that would keep you from buying the expensive food at the convention center.
What is Worlds without candy and snacks from around the world?! PLEASE tell me you all are still going to bring the awesome Puerto Rican candies, Asian crab chips, etc.!
This is not a new restriction. It has been prohibited to give out food and drink for years. Here is a thread from 2019 that references no food or drink being distributed:
