So The 2024 qualification criteria lists that china get 16 spots to worlds from IQ middle but The China nationals event just happened and it only said 4 spots go to worlds. Is this a mistake?
There are multiple tournaments/tracks in China that offer World qualification other than the nationals (I guess you’re referring to the Asia Open? There’s no ‘China Nationals’ tournament officially) due to how the tournament season is structured, such as the international school tournament in Wuhan, the Asia-Pacific Robotics Selection Competition, the Asia Open and the SJTU Invitational I think.

Nope- more than 1 event in China received spots to the World Championships. There’s the actual Nationals event, the SJTU event, Asian Open & APAC Sigs, Asian Open Finals, and a few other events that got spots this season. If you want to check which events get spots, I would check the robotevents page and the official event registration site.
