I am pretty sure. I have seen people talking about the special kinds of rubber bands they use, which are similar to these. Any color is allowed, but the rubber bands need to be two certain sizes, #32, 3" X 1/8" and #64, 3.5" X 1/4". Here is a link to a forum post that talks a lot about this: rubber band limitations
