Wrong setup of field in red lobster signature event

The latest game manual clearly shows the double positive zone is at right side of the red team/red wall stake, however, in the red lobster signature event held this week shows the double positive zone is at other side, which one is correct?
Game manual shows:

Your entire image is rotated by 180deg. If you flip either image upside down, everything will match (e.g. rings, stake positions, positive and negative zones, robot positions, drive positions).

The image is flipped. They are the same configuration…

I saw this when I started watch the stream the second day - too late to correct, I did notify RECF RSM about it. It was correct first day before practice matches during setup. No idea why they changed it. Another event had similar problem except one field was correct, the other was not.

The issue is not the 180 flip - the camera view for the signature event has the audience facing side of the field at top. The diagram in the game manual shows the audience view at the bottom. The alliance stations are swapped in the Signature event - here is a screen shot rotated 180 degrees and you can see the issue. Who does this impact, maybe autonomous?

As you can see field setup is a mirrored image.

Below are screen shots of setup on day 1 and practice match where field was correct for QM started:

The screen shot view is a 180 rotation - but does not explain why alliance stations are configured on the wrong side.

The setup and practice match show that the camera view is only 180degrees rotated and not flipped - the change of the alliance stakes sides was through the qualifying matches.

Unless someone decided to change the camera settings - could be.

This is what I meant, thanks for the correction!

About the whole camera configuration and field setup issue, it must have been a mistake from the organizer. Hope people won’t mess up like these in future events, as that would be a massive problem regarding auton.

I guess the host considered the fairness because in the first day, some teams were used wrong fields which were not able to replay every game, so they just used the same wrond field for other games in order to make every condition was same specifically for this signature event. Just guess, waiting for someone to tell the trueth.

Unless I am missing something, it appears to simply be flipped vertically.

Just watch the stream - there is no flipping, just alliance wall stakes in wrong position.

The screen grabs I posted shows correct locations at beginning of setup and then later different location.

Just watch the stream

It is not end of the world early season.

Well now that everyone is back from the Signature Event, I did get a message back from the RECF confirming fields properly setup, but the stream mirror viewed the image. No one there is sure what happened… So all good.

EPs will need to make sure their camera settings are correct on the stream, because armchair referees will pipe up

I figured…

If something was really wrong, every single auton would fail miserably or score for the opposing team. People would have caught on fast.

and posted first hand accounts on the forum  It was too good to be true that four Worlds Head Referee would not see it.
