I have looked information but the information is of old robotc and I think that in the new versions is different
I have the xbee 51 pro
I work whith robotc 4.x

Had mixed luck with the XBee pro. The communication was not nearly as constant as I would have liked.
You have a ton of set up to do on the XBee devices to get them to talk in the first place. Use the XBee configuration app and some test terminals. Then use the serial communication for the XBees to talk.
