Is it possible to just steal a cube out of the possession of an opposing robot. Ex: if a robot had a stack that it was carrying around and another robot came by and took a cube off alternate Ex: a robot had a claw it was using to grasp a cube and an opposing team stole it out of the claw. Would either of these scenarios be against the rules?
Perfectly legal since the robot is touching it, so there’s no way for it to be considered scored.
changing to vrc tower takeover
lol new strategy, wait around for your opponents to make a monster stack, then steal it.
Stealing the stack is naturally unrealistic. However, what about a simple extended bar/arm that could force cubes off of looser storage setups? (although you might get snagged on the other robot)
@Xenon27 I guess you will takeover the cubes from the opponent then? That is the name of the game.
I feel like people wouldn’t like that…
It would be hilarious though.
Wait…
Use a smoke screen so no one sees it happen and just take one cube right at the end of the match. S1? Who said S1?
Edit for messing up HTML
Smokescreens from motor controllers are one of the advantages of cortex
So are smokescreens form the cortex
Why make your own stack when you can steal your opponents stack
Big brain
But, the white screen of V5 will blind your opponents and lead you to victory!
Use your burning v4/v5 brain as a smokescreen.
Use an exploding V4 motor as a flash bang, and then…take…a cube…
Maybe this is not the most practical idea.
casually makes a smoke grenade from a bundle of burning electronics
You know my teammates v4 brain started smoking because with his robot he had a piece of metal hitting it constantly. That was also right before a tournament… Pretty interesting
Get the thread back on topic before it is doomed to join many others on @DRow’s trophy shelf.
anyways I bet you could just make a descoring arm like the ones from TP…all you do is go up to their stacker and poke/swipe at the cubes until they fall out
Flywheel that shoots the flashbang
