Hi! I am a fourth year member of VEX V5, my team's captain, the primary builder, and the coder and driver. I spend up to nine hours a week on my bot, Ramsy, building, driving or adjusting the code, and handle the notebook outside of school. 
 I joined VEX because of my love for mechanics and hands-on work. From the time I was little I worked on mechanics, vehicles, electronics, home repair, carpentry, and everything in between. VEX just clicked, and Ramsy was love at first fix. 
 I love that such a program exists making such great resources matters and learning opportunities available to kids of all ages and levels. It is a great program, from the physicality of it to the skills and traits it teaches and hones to the morals imbued and encouraged. Not only is VEX such a great program though; the people running it are amazing, and great to work with. It is an amazing opportunity and community, and I am so glad I can be a part of it.
