Hi Ethan and friend this is Eliot and thank you for being Nice Ethan
So you have to start at at least 32 by 32?
This would be fun this year if hoarding wasn’t a thing. Just build a scissor lift wall bot that covers the entire field. 3 mobile goal auton and keeping five mobile goals on your side.
If we had a robot with a huge flame thrower that would be great because then the other robots and the field would just be melted and burned to smitheries.
Unless they were scheduled to be your alliance partner in a future match…
About a fire game…
Pneumatics could be used to detonate [redacted for legal reasons] if you use the right chemicals.
If I get the materials I am making an explosive robot out of an old cortex
Can you do all the mentors, coaches and parents a favor and not post it if you are successful? I don’t need to make this my next safety issue talk. Thanks!
If I posted a design I would be banned from here.
Sorry for bad wording, Max of 32 x 32
Lol it’s fine, it made it funnier actually. I would love to see a 32 by 32 requirement tbh.
Ah, Yes, You must build a robot larger than 32 x 32 for this season. You better have enough material.
And it must be only steel, no aluminum next year
i am so glad that i have seemingly started the elemental games discourse
I think i got the referance
RECF: “We don’t want to allow teams unlimited motors because it would give an unfair advantage against teams who don’t have much money”
Also RECF: Makes pneumatics legal in the game which can cost upwards of $500-600
Yet… Cost of having 2-4 more motors on your robot: $180, assuming each motor is $45
I feel like the next move would be unlimited motors. I don’t get their reasoning when it comes to price.
I think they will limit the amount of pneumatic cylinders they will use and not just the amount of reservoirs you can have
You could post it outside vexforum on your blog or something
I would be interested in reading the details.
me and the boys pulling up with the 18"x18"x18" block of motors ziptied together
IMO it should be a cross between Next Level and Tipping Point.
← Like that
Next level was such a good game
