As long as it still leave you bot in the expansion limits yes, but they can also score from the sides so the effect might be lesser than expected.
No. At the end of the match, the motors are unpowered and brake type is irrelevant. Elevation strategies must account for this.
Kind of disappointed that we can´t carry more than 1 tri-ball at a time but also at the same time it makes the game more interesting and i think its a great challenge! My friend asked me to join him next year and i agreed to it and we already have a plan for how we want to build our bots.
The one you suggested sounds hard to pronounce and might be harder for non-english speakers to pronounce.
Thatâs a french word though? Itâs pronounced like âray lowâ
this was a joke, most people will end up calling them balls or acorns.
Just curious, do you think a hammer like puncher (with no padding) would break it? Many thanks
You only think that itâs a joke, I will recognize the spheroforms of tetrahedral symmetry by their correct name.
No, theyâd have to have it on a line.
Well, simple, theyâd carry it on a strand of 515Râs expansion.
No. Youâd have to step on it to dent it permanently.
Recently discovered a way to undent them⌠just in case it happens to anyone.
Put some teflon tape on a pneumatic tube, connect other end to a manual valve and that to the pneumatic reservoir, pump reservoir to 100 psi, flip the switch, and watch triball undent and fly a short distance towards whatever nearby item is most breakable.
brooooo that is amazing truly an inspiration
Based on the field CAD itâs about 11.634" ![]()
does anyone have a picture of a dented acorn? do they feel similar to the balls in ball pits?
I found a triball in my robotics classroom and man they were really slippery!
To maintain airspeed velpcity, the swallows would have to beat their wings 45 times a second, right?
My team is wondering if a triball can be placed in a robot outside the matchload zone if the robot is touching the matchload barrier or if the first part of the rule still applies?
Slick as a greased pig⌠yup.
SG6.1 describes one method of introducing match load - satisfy the conditions in the section it is a legal load into Match Load Zone. SG6.2 describes a second method of introducing match load onto a robot. Satisfy the conditions in that section of the rule and you have legally introduced a match load onto the robot.
Note that it SG6.2 is not dependent on SG6.1
The answer to this question can be found in <SG6> part 2:
A general premise of VRC rules (and of laws in general) is that âSilence gives consentâ. If the manual does not prohibit an action it is allowed. If the manual does not require an action, it can be omitted.
The term âone of two waysâ means that only one of the two clauses needs to be complied with. If you are fully complying with part 2, then part 1 is irrelevant.
