One thing to note with this 3000 number.
This link has almost exclusively been shared through discord and vexforums, and based on the servers I’m on and the average amount of people per server and overlaps, 3000 is closer to 40% of the community that has actually had mass exposure to the petition.

They had peak wattage of 3.93w (were called 393 motors)

Pyro moments this season are gonna be interesting

But the main point is - the current crop of students have no idea how awesome the previous generations of vex students were.
While this is true - V5 equipment is just so far beyond what the early teams had, and those teams accomplished great things… the current crop of students is also awesome.

If you didn’t know, Pyro tech is illegal this year so you can’t launch all the blocks in the goal with 100 psi. It would’ve been very funny if two Pyro techs launched at the long goals at the same time.

What about a puncher mech, like take a big c channel wound up on a rubber bank and winch, then just punch all the balls out of the goal, I don’t see anything that prevents this in the manual other than the rule that states that you can descore balls by scoring other balls.
What is the size limits of the VRC robot. This manual only references VexU and their robots are typically larger than VRC.
The game manual does state the size limit for robots in V5RC, take a look at R5
The vex u symbol by the rule means this rule is DIFFERENT for vex u, and to read the vex u section for the change. The rule I think you read does not apply to vex u, it applies to v5rc
I assume you are referring to the size rules with the VEXU sign; those are normal VRC rules and the VEXU symbol means that they apply differently to VEXU. The VRC robot size limit is still (sadly) 22’ diagonal.
