97963A presents our 4th robot of the season. Specs: 3m drive, 2m lift, 1m tilter, 2m intake
This is epic!
Great job!
I’m assuming by 3m drive you mean h drive right?
no, we are not using H drive
Do you guys have 2 motors on one side and one on the other? If not, how do you turn?
Awesome robot!
You have an extra wheel along the center of the robot in order to have 3 motors on the drive
there’s a wheel in the middle. we use code to make it turn at the right speed
Wow, this is amazing! Great job guys!
There were 3 teams that used a drive setup like this in TP. 1814D early season robot, 37409A(us) for worlds, and 20785A.
And there goes any chance of a non tray dr4b doing good at all…
This is the ideal Tower Takeover robot. You may not like it, but this is what peak robot-ing looks like.
That’s amazing! How reliable is stacking on stacks?
It’s pretty consistent (for now) but I still consider it a little bit time consuming. That is why we modified our tray to hold 9 cubes, so that we can act as a normal tray lift too
Nice functional decoration! What made you decide to go with a 3 motor drive over a 1 motor intake?
I don’t think 1m is enough for intaking 9 cubes, and chaining the two rollers together will be hard to do
Quick question(s)
Do the rollers flip?
If so, down or out
If down, how do they move out of the way when scoring?
the rollers flip out.
What’s the ratio on the rollers?
1:1 200rpm

This design looks very awesome! But I have a couple of questions I’m concerned about. How consistent is it at scoring more than 9 cubes? In addition, why do you believe it to be more valuable than a 10-12 cube score-capable goofy bot? I love the design, but I’m just curious. Is it efficient, fast, and reliable enough to last the entire season?
(BTW I love creative and intuitive designs, but I love to help out by asking questions as well)
