Additional parts shipped as part of game elements for Override

we just finished setting up our field for Override. We have a lot of unused parts that were shipped as parts of the game elements.

  1. Instead of the 56 cups, we have got 70 cups.
  2. instead of 63 pins, we have 70 pins.
  3. there is an additional set of tags (0 to 4)
  4. 16 spacers that were not even used once in the entire field setup. (why were these even sent?)
  5. A bunch of extra screws, nuts and aluminium standoffs.

Can someone confirm they are seeing the same too? I understand that there would be additional parts shipped (thanks Vex, thoughtful of you), but i am not sure if I missed some step in the build instructions that I ended up with so many additional parts.

I’ve gotten extra parts also. I think vex is being very generous!

lots of spare things. I am not complaining.

Spacers may be for metal field perimeters.

They’re used to attach the toggles on the metal fields

Not sure what’s up with the extra cups/pins, but the other hardware sounds like it may be used to mount some of the field hardware with the old steel field perimeter.

its not really a bad thing maybe its for intake/claw test

We did break the game element we bought at worlds… at worlds… So maybe they know they’re not going go hold up well. Keep them safe.

I just want parts :frowning: Ordered on the 28th of April (because my PO got hung up in the office) and my order is still “processing”
