Hi,

<SG2> Prior to the start of each match, each team will have one (1) tube available to preload into their robot. A tube is considered to be legally preloaded if it is touching the robot and not touching any field element or scoring object.

From what I read of SG2 you can only have 1 tube per robot as a preload at the beginning of the match. However, in many videos of matches I have seen one robot with 2 rings and the other with none (on the same alliance). Which reading is correct?

Your reading of <SG2> is correct. Each team may have a maximum of one tube for preload in the autonomous mode.
