Answered: Renamed: Definition of Scored

The rules say that a scoring object does not count if it is touching the barrier or bump. Does this include any amount of touching (such as the large ball just lightly touching the side of the barrier or bump after it has stopped rolling) or does it only include sitting on top of?
Thank you

We ask you to please thoroughly read the VEX Toss Up Game Manual and to please review the Q&A Usage Guidelines before posting in this forum. Specifically, please quote the rule or definition that your question is referring to.

The rules actually don’t say that.

Let’s take a look at the definition of Scored from the VEX Toss Up Game Manual. I’ve bolded some text for emphasis:

Notice that there are no references to the Scoring Objects touching the Bump or Barrier. Thus doing so is irrelevant to the determination of whether or not an Object is Scored.

Thank you, The way some questions have been answered or worded on the forum had me confused with that thank you.

You’re welcome.
