I am looking for a team for my son in middle school in columbus -ohio. If the student doesnt get selected in the robotics team there seems to be no way to form a team.
How much is the ball park cost of forming a non-school team ? Getting sponsors/funding seem to be too complicated to me, or is it not so hard.
Non-school teams cost a lot. Upwards of $1000 per robot, including controller and batteries, and another $700 for the field.
