Not a standard Vex part, and you are saving a gram, so unless you had a 100 of them, not making a big difference
Please provide the link to the Game Manual and/or Q&A that support your assertion.

If you want, you could use Loctite on screws inserted into standoffs since that is legal and achieves the same effect. Just make sure not to use high-strength Loctite or you won’t be able to get that off.
Hi, help me out. How does loctite on standoffs a weight saving vs using lighter nylon standoffs? I know it’s a moot point since the nylon standoffs are not legal.
( Answered: Are Nylon Standoffs Legal?) or at least not legal since 2016.
Non-VEX fasteners, including commercially available standoffs are explicitly allowed under <R21>
of the game manual:
Plastic standoffs are 100% legal under this rule, as using a lighter material is not considered “additional functionality”:
For the purposes of this rule, weight savings is not considered additional functionality.
I assumed they had a standoff screwed in and an additional nylock nut to hold the screw in place, and wanted to get rid of the nylock nut to save weight. Nylon standoffs and adding Loctite are likely similar in weight, but I haven’t tried it myself.
R21c Any commercially available nut, washer, standoff, and/or non-threaded spacer up to 2.5” (63.5 mm) long which fits these screws.
Mcmaster Carr would probably be where you need to look.
Bolding by me.
Standoffs are threaded. A non-threaded nylon standoff would be a spacer.
According to R21c it explicitly states standoff as a acceptable non-vex fastener.
