is v1 parts legal for the competitions? for example, turnables, gears, worm gears, are they??
The golden standard is typically: If VEX sells them, it’s legal. If they stop selling them, most likely the’re illegal from hereon out.
But things are going to change soon. So for now assume illegal.
There actually should be a legal parts excel now, idk if the old discounted parts link is live anymore.
I think that’s the better answer. I am going to bookmark that, thank you!
It is also referenced in the Game Manual that we all read ![]()
yeah… I GAVE UP finding it… Can someone pls just tell me??? I am not a good reader…
If it is listed in the Google Sheets I posted, it is legal. Otherwise it is not legal.
Your Original Post.
The answer where to find it.
I went to the spreadsheet and did a search on “turntable”
It is not that hard. The Game Manual refers to this live spread sheet.
Now why you might not find things easily, VEX has part numbers and descriptions for their products. They typically do not label 1st generation as V1 for a myriad of reasons .
I hope that helps.
wait, so v1 parts have the same parts number as v2 parts? so technically except for explicitly not shown parts, all v1 parts that have the copycat of a v2 on the spreadsheet are legal, right?
