We are saving weight and money… by making our drum out of PVC pipe, with screws in it.
Be ready for a catastrophic explosion if that PVC sustains a direct hit.

A builder who had a very similar design, and the foresight to bring spares.
We have a design where all we have to do is unscrew a side piece and slide the whole piece out. We are going with thick, 2" pipe- for strength, and because that will fit directly onto our motor.

I like Beta too. Minotaur is still my favorite though. Tombstone just does as much damage to itself as it does to other robots. Take the ending of Tombstone vs Bronco.
Also, In this one, Minotaur vs Tombstone, Minotaur’s strategy after his weapon went out was to slam the blocks of near-solid steel into Tombstones weapon, so Tombstone did a whole bunch of damage to itself-at the end of the match, Tombstone’s weapon was no longer parallel to the floor, It was cutting into the floor. It might have gone onto a judges decision if minotaur had not gotten stuck on the ripped of pieces of steel.
Also, Minotaur’s weapon might not have long as a reach, but it is still very good at bashing the other robots to pieces, but it is still good at shredding them. Take Minotaur vs Warhead.

This is an epic match!
tombstone did that to himself by hitting bite force.
This was a fun match. Duck is actually machined out of a single piece of aluminum, so It is pretty strong, but very light for a battlebot. I love Minotaur vs Blacksmith too, Minotaur completely destroys It.
Also, @sketchyhat1, please, if you are able, edit your existing posts instead of putting multiple short posts one after another. It leads to much cleaner and less cluttered threads.
