I use Fusion 360. It is a great parametric modeling software and is SUPER useful for modeling the robot.

I also made a folder organizing CAD parts for Vex Iq into separate folders and sub-divisions.

Hi. I have started to recognize the advantages of CADing before making your robot. It really helps design and think through what you need, and when you don’t have parts you can CAD in the meanwhile so when it arrives, you immediately start building. So, when I started I wanted an already organized folder where I can download it off the internet and I will automatically get all my shafts, spacers, beams, and tires in separate folders to make modeling easier.
