hi, i want to add a sensor to my robot to improve accuracy during automous skills and 15 seconds. i feel like vision sensors are going to be the best, but i want to know more user experience about the other sensors. this is my second year as the coder and i am trying to level up my skills and knowledge in code before i enter the big leaguesz (hs) thank you.
I’m assuming you’re doing vex IQ, and in that case a vision sensor is one of the fundamental sensors you need for auton, in my opinion. After that I think the distance sensor is important for measuring where your bot is. Gyro and distance sensors go really well together for precise turns and locations.
There’s a new IQ sensor called AI vision. It’s just vision but it has AI to detect what things are, like it can detect orange pins and blue pins.
