Hello, my team was just testing out our robot, and we realized one of the motors wasn’t functioning. We got the error message saying that a device was disconnected after we stopped the code, but we replaced the cable, motor, and even the brain, but the issue is still happening. Additionally, the motor is connected and spins in the device page, but when we run the program, it doesn’t move. We also tried factory reset and deleting all programs on the brain, but that didn’t fix anything. Any solutions?
Download VexOSUtility. I think your motor is not up to date. You should install it and follow instructions to update.
Only if it’s a generation 1 brain
Then it could be a code issue, however, most issues I see like this are problems either with the cable or the physical port on brain or motor. ( ie. Damaged port pins)
We were able to solve it on our own, as we disconnected and reconnected one by one the parts that were already connected and we found out that one of our solenoids was stopping it from working, so we replaced that and it worked.
