I never heard of it in a long time, but I am pretty sure you can’t have the same team win excellence and design at the same time. This should be consulted with your regional manager, if I can know, whats the tournament name.

But when checking the robot events pages, there seem to be some inconsistencies. The team’s awards show both 2 teamwork champion awards along with the double judged awards.
But clicking on that event shows they won neither excellence nor design. There is another tournament with an identical name on another date where they did win both, along with the tournament so it merged the awards under one.
At the end of the day, it still seems like they won both in one, which shouldn’t have happened.
I looked at their scores. They did not meet criteria for excellence.
