Catapult need help with placement

Have a problem with my calptalp with the placement of the standoff and amonut of rubber bands need.

im confused on what your asking? can you specify what is causing you issues

Can you describe your problem in more detail?

If the standoffs are for a hard stop, place them where you want it to stop. I would say about when the catapult is straight up. As for the amount of rubber bands, use as many as you want. The more bands the more force.

One of the main advantages of the calptalp is that you can easily tune it by changing the hard stop and amount of rubber bands. However, I can not tweak your robot. But you can! Use principles of the scientific method that you learned in science class. Especially stuff dealing with independent and dependent variables. Try different combinations, and see what works.
If you have a SPECIFIC question, like “how can I determine the force of the catapult based on mass and acceleration?” Feel free to ask, but you frustrate people when you ask questions like “help me with my calptalp.” That’s just online etiquette!
