In the new Student-Centered Policy, under the Code section, it specifies guidelines regarding student-written code, external code, AI usage, and the Code Summary.
My question is regarding the scope of this section: does “Code” refer exclusively to the code uploaded to the robot’s brain (autonomous routines, driver control, sensors, etc.), or does it also apply to auxiliary external software developed by the team (such as scouting apps, team finder tools, or match strategy databases)?
We want to make sure whether tools like a custom team scouting/finder app need to be documented under the Code Summary and Credit Summary, or if that requirement is strictly for the robot’s onboard program.
