the problem isn’t the tilter, it’s the rollers intaking. I haven’t seen anyone do this but I think you could make the rollers more alligned with the tray by putting them on the top instead of the bottom.
He did in fact state that he had problems with his tilter.

Why did you change to 100rpm, just for torque? How was the speed difference, did it have any major impact?

We experienced the same problem with our design which is very similar to your vertical flip-out (I presume you throw you intakes out vertically at the beginning of the round). With our team, we attached stand-offs to the bottom of the intake and a little barrier block at the bottom which allow the intake to fall in when the lift is down, restricting horizontal spread that causes your issue of compression. So far this got us 8 max cubes so I highly recommend switching to fixed intakes if you have time as they solve compression at the cost of longer intakes.

- Wth is up with your arms? Find some way to brace then so they don’t spread apart so much. Curretnly they are like this / \ braceto make them like this I I . Ive seen this with so many teams. At a point your arms will be biggest loss of compression. Next up. your intakes are going way too fast. Slow them down. I doubt your bot is gonna get a 100+ skills score so there is no need for an intake that fast.

I’ll edit this post later when I find the post but there was a design on Instagram where a team put a set of c channels on either side of the arm that were given only a slight amount of force to pull them down. When the intake swung in, it pushed the c channels up, and then when it was between the channels they were pulled down around the intake, this is what I did to my bot, and it looks like the majority of my compression issues have been eliminated so far.
