I don’t have a picture but our team had a folding tray. We extended it then put on rubber bands folding it to see if it would flip out it never did so we kept adding rubber bands and got to four on each side when we folded it there was to much force and it pulled the two pieces together bending the 90 degree elbow pieces
Y, y not just use gears instead of that chain…
that was an early design, we ended up direct driving the back and 1:1 chaining the front. It was a very sloppy drive. However, this was not due to the chain, simply because of our poor use of it. This year we still use a chain drive. However, it now works flawlessly. While chain may be harder to tension correctly, it is by no means inferior to gears.
