You must put 2 metal inserts to make your wheel work.
First why did you reply to a post that was a year and a half ago, and second you are wrong. It is cursed because the wheel stripped and now the square inserts just spin inside the wheel. Please think before you post.

Yowch. Does the potentiometer still work?
Not trying to be “that guy”, but that is not a potentiometer, it is a shaft encoder, it is like a potentiometer but it’s rotation isn’t limited. It can output the amount of rotations that have occurred and the amount of degrees it has turned. (You don’t see them that much any more because V5 smart motors have them built in)
Actually, it never worked in the first place, I was gonna remove it anyways. But like @7996B said, it’s a quadrature encoder, not a potentiometer.
