I dont know what hurts me more, the lack of a radio and battery, the lack of clips to even put a battery, stand offs being used instead of a crossbar, only a thin plate instead of a crossbar, only two motors, no wires, the drive shafts not going all the way through and only having one point of support, having only two of the four wheels powered (and I’m guessing those are the front wheels given that Omni is normally in the back with those green ones in the front), how twisted it is, how the sides dont go the full length of the bot, using the thin gears for the drive, how the diagonal bar on the left looks like it will hit the wheel, or literally just the fact that someone built that and said “this is fine” (Also before anyone gets mad at me or anything I know its probably a new team who doesn’t know that much about building/has limited resources, this reply is purely a joke. The robots not the very best but I’ve seen much worse, and it looks like it will probably function fine)

To be honest though, I think the rubber bands we have holding our battery work fine. We used to use the clips, but then we changed our arm, it got in the way so we had to try something new.
Honestly an alternative that works sounds great. The clips kinda suck (break easily, difficult to get the battery out of), so if you found an alternative that works for your robot that’s amazing and good job, what I mostly meant by that part was the lack of a battery and a place to even put one.
We have a really good alternative, let me see if I have a picture, I might need to get a picture tomorrow though
Ok That’s amazing. Thank you for sharing that, I’ll probably end up doing something like that on my robot it looks much better/easier.
