In Paraguay we don’t have access for this part, ant the time to request in USA and receive is aprox 1 moth or more inclusive in something cases
I consider use a square metal rod in remplaze, but is legal to use? If very necessary official part in this case?

Square steel stock would be considered “Raw Stock” under rule VUR4, so yes, that would be legal.

(But, keep in mind, VEX shafts aren’t perfectly square, the corners are rounded off, so some post-processing may be necessary depending on your application.)

I like using steel stock for structure rather than as axles. The steel stock is a lot cheaper than vex axles so it is a lot more price-efficient to use vex axles as axles and the steel stock as anything else (drivetrain support, ram bars, that kind of stuff)

Probably worth adding - I assumed OP was asking about VEX U due to the tag.

Square steel stock would not be legal for use on a VRC robot.
